My career is built on a foundation of design thinking and innovation. As a veteran of IDEO, my work stems from a practice of understanding peoples’ needs, dreams and desires and translating that insight into product, service, environment and communication solutions. I synthesize research through frameworks and principles to make the insights actionable.
During my 9 years at IDEO, I was able to drive innovation programs from multiple roles. First as a design lead and human factors specialist to project management and on to my role as a Senior Portfolio Director.
My passion for emerging technology created a portfolio with a focus on digital experiences, driving innovation programs for cross-industry organizations ranging from Fortune 500's to early stage startups.

As Head of Product, Operations, and Ethics, I led the transformation of a founder’s simple idea into Feels Music — a scalable music messaging platform. I defined the product vision and roadmap, built and prioritized feature sets that balanced user delight with technical feasibility, and guided cross-functional teams through rapid iteration and launch. I designed operational systems for onboarding, moderation, and analytics to support growth, introduced scalable infrastructure and processes to ensure reliability, and optimized workflows to reduce time-to-market.

Co‑Founder who built an action sports e-learning company from concept to acquisition. Led product strategy, curriculum and platform development; hired and managed engineering, content, marketing and operations teams. Defined go‑to‑market, ran customer acquisition/retention, and secured school/institution partnerships. Managed fundraising, data‑driven product improvements, and scalable operations.
As Employee #1 and Head of Product, I served as the bridge between founders’ vision and market reality — building the product, the team, and the processes that drove venture-scale growth, investor confidence, and a successful acquisition by Capital One.
Product strategy and vision: Worked directly with the founders to define product-market fit, prioritize use cases, and set a multi-year product roadmap aligned with business goals.
Customer insight and validation: Led customer discovery and quality/quant research efforts, running interviews, usability studies, and A/B tests to validate assumptions and refine value propositions.
End-to-end product development: Owned the full product lifecycle — from requirements and UX/UI design through engineering execution, QA, launch, and iteration — coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on schedule.
Fundraising and investor relations: Collaborated with the founders on investor materials, product demos, and due diligence, articulating a compelling product narrative that helped secure KPCB backing.
Go-to-market and partnerships: Partnered with sales, marketing, and business development to shape pricing, packaging, and enterprise integrations; negotiated early strategic partnerships that expanded distribution and credibility.
Team building and leadership: Hired and mentored the initial product and design teams, established processes for roadmapping, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration, and created a product culture focused on outcomes and customer obsession.
I am a Certified Biomimicry Professional and continue to explore the practice through emulation of nature’s strategies, an ethos of creating conditions conducive to life and reconnecting with the natural world.
I continually engage with scientists to inform and inspire my work. I meet with emerging technology companies to find possible market opportunities for their businesses.
